Woburn Trails

Woburn Trails mountain biking
Woburn Trails offers some of the best mountain biking the South East of England can offer, with over 90m of ascent climbs can be found to challenge everyone (which is why we like using Woburn for our intermediate courses!).

Based on the Greensands Ridge the terrain has some fantastic cross country riding, a bike park with plenty of jumps and short downhill runs up to 30 seconds in length. For the trail rider there are miles and miles of trails - enough to keep you amused for a day and all within 60 minutes drive of London, Leicester and Birmingham.

We'd say the best Mountain Biking south of the Peaks and also near to London.

A permit is required to ride at Woburn Trails however a day pass can be bought from a Ranger for anyone wishing to turn up and ride, permits are covered the course cost for riders with Get Mountain Biking. For information and annual permits please see the Greensand Trust website. For a map of the Aspley Woods mountain biking area within Woburn Trails please download it here (339KB).
