Introductory Skills Courses
Introductory courses are structured to cover all mountain bike skills you are likely to need when mountain biking. The following modules are covered during the course.- Correct bike set up and rider positioning
- Going uphill
- Going downhill
- Cornering
- Drops offs
- Lifting the front wheel
- Emergency trail repairs (including punctures and broken chains)
- The use of clipless pedals (with an opportunity to try them out)
- Bike safety checks
Cost: £60 per person (includes all instruction, permit to ride and goody bag)
Courses are running at both Harlestone Firs, Northamptonshire, Woburn Trails, Milton Keynes and from July 08 also at Thetford Forest Park, Suffolk on the following dates;

27th July (Woburn Trails) - 1 place left

Women's Specific Introductory Skills Courses are available for females that want to have the days instruction without the guys around. These run on the last Saturday of each month and are delivered by female instructors.
