Mountain Bike Parties

A great party for those who just love riding their bike - we can guarantee the fun and sometimes the mud - if you supply the children and the food.

We tailor the party to the group however we aim for a 90 minute party to include a safety briefing, basic skills and a guided ride with trail obstacles.

The parties cater for children from 8 years upwards, we can offer general off road cycling parties for children younger than this however their bike size and lack of gears on the bike limits their mountain biking aspirations!

All instructors are Enhanced CRB checked and fully insured with copies of paperwork available on request.

Cost

Up to 6 children - £70
Up to 12 children - £130

We would not take more than 12 children in a group as this makes riding and group management unsafe. We work on a ratio of 1 instructor per 6 riders hence for up to 6 riders you will have 1 instructor and 7-12 riders will mean 2 instructors.

Location

We can run the parties at any of our skills locations - Woburn Trails (Bucks/Beds border) or Harlestone Firs (Northamptonshire).

Dates and Times

we are available midweek and also at weekends. Weekends are a busier time for us with skill courses or private instruction running most days hence we usually run parties 4-6pm at the weekends but can be more flexible midweek.

You do not need not accompany your child on these courses however adult helpers are welcome to ride with us.

What is included

We include all instruction, permits to ride and risk assessments for the 2 hours. There is no bike hire included. We can obtain bike hire but would need to know approximate heights of riders in advance (Cost would be £15 for the first bike and £10 for each bike thereafter).

Party Bags

We can supply Get Mountain Biking water bottles at a cost of £3.50 per bottle if you wish to give these away instead of the traditional party bag.
