Mountain Bike Maintenance Course

This course will give you all the information you need to keep your bike in good working condition and save you hours of running to the bike shop for minor adjustments and repairs.

The following topics are covered on the course;

- Gear set up, indexing and cable replacement
- Punctures/wheel removal
- Chain splitting and repairing
- Drivetrain removal
- V Brake and disc brakes (set up & replacing)
- Bike set up
- Emergency trailside repairs

No prior knowledge of bike maintenance is assumed and since the day is completely hands on so please bring your own bike with you.

The course is staffed with bike mechanics at a maximum ratio of 1:6.

Location: Macintosh Centre, Brixworth Country Park, Northamptonshire

Time: All courses run 10am till approx 4pm

Cost: £80 per person (includes all instruction, lunch, morning/afternoon refreshments and goody bag)
