Advanced Mountain Bike Skills Course

Advanced mountain biking skills courses are structured to offer you mountain bike training you will need to ride black runs in the UK and also trails in Europe such as at Morzine and Les Gets.

- Combining advanced techniques
- Riding large obstacles (eg drops of 1.5m)
- Northshore woodwork
- Endos
- Step ups
- Rock gardens

- Jumps such as tabletops

mountain biking skills course large obstacle Advanced Skills courses run at Stainburn Forest, North Yorks. Due to the nature of the obstacles we would advise you to bring body armour to protect yourself from superficial injuries.

A weekend of riding which includes a days Intermediate level days riding and an introduction to rock gardens on the Saturday as well as accommodation on the Saturday evening followed by the Advanced Course on the Sunday can be arranged for £160, this includes accommodation at a local Youth Hostel with breakfast. The Saturday is a ride which includes a review of the Intermediate skills with plenty of hills and rock gardens and the Sunday is the Advanced course day at Stainburn.

The days run approximately 10am till 4pm

Cost: £80 per person

This course is suitable for mountain bikers who have the techniques on the Intermediate Skills Course and now want to build confidence on large obstacles and be able to ride trail centre black runs smoothly.
